ParMagnus's telescope nights were strongly motivated by our  -now becoming traditional-  ASTR 1307 observing sessions at UTEP Physics Department at the start of a new academic semester, that in 2019 we extended to other local schools. Our new 12-inch Lightbridge Dobsonian saw first light in the spring of 2019, and teamed up with or classic 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope for this project . Above: the spring and fall 2019 observing sessions conducted by H. Noriega, T. Watson, A. Lupo, M. Sosa and S. Garza at the Physics Department.

ParMagnus at Burges High School, Oct. 1, 2019, El Paso, TX thanks to the enthusiastic response of physics professor Jesús Sánchez Primo. Our telescopes were at the center of the school's football field on a very cloudy and windy night. A nice poster was designed by Burges's Art Department to advertise the event. ParMagnus telescope crew: H. Noriega, S. Garza, O. Corrales, E. Márquez.

The ParMagnus team at El Paso District's Aoy Elementary School on May 10, 2019, kindly and enthusiastically received by Ms. Annette Gossette (Aoy's science lab instructor) and her two 5th grade classes. Dr. Noriega-Mendoza and Sean Midea gave a joint talk on Mars exploration and colonization : from Huygens' polar caps to Elon Musk's SpaceX.
